New Customers in North Carolina Utilizing SARA
Springmoor Life Care Retirement Community in Raleigh, N.C. selected SARA to extend mobile safety coverage to their residents while leveraging their current infrastructure. Penick Village in Southern Pines, N.C. chose to partner with Status Solutions and to implement SARA in order to provide more freedom to their residents throughout the Healthcare facility, Assisted Living community and Independent Living apartments.
The existing nurse call system did not need to be replaced entirely, but could be improved through automation and integration to other systems and devices.
The staff at Chambrel was looking for a way to extend the life of their existing emergency response system by implementing a solution that would improve their emergency procedures and enable their systems to work more cohesively.

St. Mary’s WoodsIn order to improve overall staff efficiency, St. Mary’s Woods wanted to update the existing nurse call system with a more automated system that would send alerts via email, pagers and cell phones.

Communities in Virginia Utilizing SARA
Lakewood Manor, affiliated with Virginia Baptist Homes, located in Richmond, Va. selected SARA to improve their existing nurse call system through automation and integration to other systems and devices. Westminster-Canterbury of the Blue Ridge, located in Charlottesville, Va., chose to partner with Status Solutions and to implement SARA to update and expand their technology capabilities where resident care and safety were concerned.
In comparison to other schools across the country, Mount Gilead school district is leading the way in regards to their technology strategy. By leveraging their existing IP platform they are now able to provide wireless alerting devices that literally can help save lives in an emergency situation.
Wilora Lake Lodge’s Activity Director enters her monthly activities calendar into the system and SARA calls the residents in the “activity group” to remind them of scheduled events.
The community was not equipped with any type of sensing device on the residence or exterior doors, and there was an immediate need for the monitoring of smoke detectors in the apartments. The staff was looking to leverage their existing nurse call system and provide a more technologically sophisticated means of protection.
Judicial facilities throughout the country are faced with the challenge of keeping their employees safe and secure. Washington County’s current technology was a hardwired panel based alerts system that was aging and not functioning to the level necessary to provide increased security to the judges.
The Greens Adult Living Communities
The community’s security system had previously been outsourced to an off-site organization. The Greens was ready to take full control of the safety and security of its staff and residents, and wanted to enhance the nurse call system by improving the accountability of resident care and the scheduling of staff.
