Alerting Engine

SARA is a universal notification engine that is designed to monitor alerting events occurring within a variety of environments.  It provides a common method for managing the delivery of alerts with each triggered event being logged in the system's database and retained for reporting purposes.

The software rules-based engine provides a flexible mechanism to consolidate multiple devices into a common database for reporting and management.  The system does not require frequent user activation once the event types and protocols for actions required have been uniquely designated during the implementation process.

The persistent connection available from the IP network is leveraged to provide an integrated alarm monitoring and alerting system which links many devices into a common system.  An event occurs, the notification is transmitted and the event is logged in the database.  SARA is a network-based system that is accessible from anywhere you can access your network.

SARA’s Positioning System (SPS) is patent pending technology that enables enhanced location support for mobile devices within the Inovonics EchoStream RF Infrastructure.  Through SPS (a vector mapping technology), SARA provides highly accurate location data.  The location information provided to staff shows the proximity of the mobile user to a fixed device or virtual point of interest which can be as accurate as to the apartment.
