Status Solutions was founded in 2001, following the tragedies of Columbine and 9/11. The brand was built around the concept of operational "status," launching Status-E for the education market and Status-H for the health care market.
These solutions unified stand-alone alarm and communication systems to provide centralized monitoring, alerting and reporting for situational awareness and response management, evolving into our core software solution, the Situational Awareness and Response Assistant (SARA), an automated alerting engine.
We've also added such advanced alerting capabilities as desktop alerts, mobile dashboards and video paging - plus self-service. These technologies not only help companies manage their information for more efficient emergency alerting and response management, but they also facilitate data collection, processing, analysis and delivery for better communication, service and other operational improvements.
From the beginning, our business model has been based on using technology to produce positive societal impacts. We're more passionate than ever about the power of information and pride ourselves on helping customers achieve their desired outcomes with critical data - situational awareness - delivered to virtually any screen (e.g., desktops, smartphones, tablets, digital signage).
The power to read, hear, see, do and analyze is important for better risk management. Situational awareness for life safety, security, environmental monitoring and mass notification helps protect people, property, business and convenience. We've proved the effectiveness of situational awareness as a strategy and the reliability of it as an actual technology framework time and again for customers throughout the United States and Canada.

Situational awareness really knows no bounds, but the environments, inputs and outputs will be different, which is why our solutions are customized. However, the ultimate outcome is always the same. See how situational awareness helps organizations in specific markets defeat ignorance-based loss.
