Increasing Safety and Security
When a fixed or wireless panic button is activated or a monitored door or window is opened in a classroom, in a dorm room, in a campus parking garage or in a public restroom, then a voice or text alert will be sent directly to pre-defined security locations such as campus or local police. The emergency event triggers an alert that is sent directly to the proper location and individual for an immediate response.
Improving Mass Notification
SARA’s broadcast communication capability allows students and staff across large campuses to be notified of emergency situations quickly and easily. Information like security warnings and inclement weather alerts can be sent via email, pagers, two-way radios, text to mobile phones, etc.
